Welcome 2023, Welcome January
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE xx
Another year has passed and many of
us like to reflect on what has happened in the last 12 months and how we have reached this point in time. Some people don’t like to look back at all and focus on the New Year and what it will bring. I think I like to do a bit of both, remembering some of the highs and lows of the year, but then feeling the excitement of the potential of the year ahead.
Starting with a bit of reflection on the year for the JTP Family. Well, I have enjoyed teaching over 250 live Online classes and have loved sharing my mornings with the lovely JTP family … plus all the specials throughout the year: KNIPS Challenge in January; March Madness; Move More in May; Evening Energiser Pilates; Feel Good Fridays — Mindful Pilates for Mental Health Awareness month in October; and Complete Care at Christmas workouts in December. Safe to say we have shared a lot of Pilates! And I am looking forward to getting back into the Pod for our New Year.
We have also had our 340 Face-to-Face classes this year, and in celebration I had my Coffee Morning in April, and we had a Pre-Christmas Walk around the Outwoods — which I believe it was felt that it should become a ‘thing’ for 2023. Plus I held two Pilates Mindful Retreat days, where I was joined by Wendy Gamble to provide a day of escape for us to become more present and work on how to live a more conscious life. With this in mind I am looking forward to organising more of these kind of events, where our JTP Family can come together in person outside of the
Pilates classes and just chat … we love a chat.
I’ve received some fabulous messages throughout the year, from sharing how the classes have helped them with various physical issues with hips, knees, back, shoulders … but also messages to hear how you have enjoyed the
Newsletters, and look forward to receiving them each week and how they have helped you emotionally. These messages of course, have made my heart sing, because although it’s called Jane Thomas Pilates it’s not really about me, its all about YOU and my aim has been and will always be to use my kind of Pilates to support your health and wellbeing.
