| Most of our courses are now in their last week of the current block, and I just wanted to say thank you
to everyone who has been attending, and how brilliant you have all been.
Even when it has been cold and icy outside the classes have been full of positivity and joy — so here's a BIG thanks to each and every one of you.
Some of our course dates have had to be messed about with due to halls not being available at short notice, and other extenuating circumstances such as accidents right outside the venue! So please check
out any change of dates with either myself or Keith if you aren't sure. We will be putting our course dates on our website for future reference.

This weeks exercise for you to practice is the Double Leg Stretch.
This is truly a multi-muscle exercise and challenges all your core muscles as well as increasing mobility in shoulders, hips and knees. Start gradually and work at the appropriate level for your body.
The renovation of our second Studio room is coming along leaps and bounds. Painting is finished — thankfully — and the smell's dying down at long, long last. The flooring is being delivered today, and I will be laying
it later this week, with the hope that the room will be available for full use as of next week. I'll have photos of Le Grande Opening along with a glass of champagne for you all, in next weeks' Newsletter. It will make a big difference to us all in the Studio, as four Pilates Instructors fighting for Studio space is a spectacular sight, believe me. Still, as official referee, I get the best view, and I am thinking of touting tickets to the best offers...
Thanks to all the responses I had regarding the new style for the Newsletter. It appears you all like it, so we're really pleased. Yes, we've had one or two teething problems with the
week's Calendar image — some of you pointed out that a double session of classes over two hours comes out as a single block, so looks like there is only one two-hour class. We hope to rectify that shortly, as we will start to visually split up double sessions into two singles starting from the next block of courses, week beginning 23 February.
Finally, and just for a bit of a laugh, you know how I love the Internet. The Internet's wonderful — you can find all kinds of information, some of it useful, some not so, and all totally true (so they tell me). I saw this map the other day, and thought you would want to share it, as it is of vital importance — it's a map of every goat in
the USA:
Spring is on its way...
I know we probably still have some cold days to get through, but the nights are beginning to draw out. I know this because when I leave to teach my evening classes, I am
noticing it is still daylight, which feels great.
So let's think about those beautiful spring days, soon to be heading our way — today the sky has been so blue, it instantly lifts our spirits and makes us feel brighter. It helps to remember that even when the clouds drift over there is still blue sky above waiting to burst through — the more we focus on this the happier and more positive we will
feel!
Have a great week, stay fit, happy and healthy and keep moving freely!

This Week's Classes
There is no class on Saturday 14 February at Quorn Village Hall, as — you guessed it — we
can't have the Hall that day. That class will take place the following Saturday 21 February in Quorn Village Hall. Other than that, all classes as normal this week (whatever normal means)...
Next Week's
Classes
Next week is half-term, though we do have some classes still running. Monday's classes at Quorn Village Hall and Rosebery Street will go ahead (as they all are running a week behind).
