The Jane Thomas Pilates Newsletter
Hello ,

Problems with email accounts this week — someone out there doesn’t want us sending emails to aol.com accounts. Keith explains all below. He has tried to contact aol.com asking what the problem is with emails from @janethomaspilates.co.uk email addresses and we are still waiting for a reply. If you have an AOL email address and you have been waiting for a reply from us, this is probably why you haven’t received anything. Rest assured we are trying to resolve it.

Have a great week, look, move and feel good.

Email Troubles...
Keith here — hi all! We are having some extreme technical problems getting our emails through to some AOL email addresses. If you have an AOL email address and are waiting to hear from us, then this could be the reason.

The problem appears to be that AOL isn't accepting emails sent from our business email server. As far as we can see this isn't interfering with our Newsletter — as the Newsletter is sent out from our mailing list server.

We are waiting to hear from AOL tech support regarding a solution, but perhaps if you do have an AOL email address you can let us know if you also have another email address we can contact you on in the interim.

Exercise Of The Week
I love the Roll Up, so guess what? It is this week’s exercise of the week. In the video I show it in full, then as a foundation exercise, and also a modification to try if you are working towards rolling up from the floor.

The Roll Up is great for mobility and flexibility of the spine, but also strengthens the deep abdominal muscles.

As with all the exercises work at the appropriate level for your body. Plus remember that almost every day our bodies present differently depending on what we have been doing, so don’t be afraid to work at a less challenging level on days you are feeling tired or lacking in energy, listen to your body.

Your Whole Self
Let’s chat...

I love a good chat, a catch up, an update, seeking information, fact finding, listening, acknowledging, interested, staying silent… Are you the listener or are you the talker?

To help yourself, it is sometimes better to be the silent one, the interested one, the listening one, acknowledging what you are hearing.

I learn more about myself when I am listening than at any other time. So my challenge to you this week is to recognise when you are being the “chatterer” and when you are being the “listener” and make a mental note about how each role can make you feel.

Book a Catchup

If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead, just follow the link to book it.

Simply tell us the class you will miss and —most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.

Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
