The Jane Thomas Pilates Newsletter
Hello ,

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Easter holiday weekend and making full use of your time, whatever it is you are choosing to do.

Keith and I are lucky enough to be enjoying Easter in Cyprus, soaking up the sunshine and being by the sea. I love the sea, something about it that is completely mesmerising, and relaxing. I think I take on the rhythm of the sea as I feel like my breathing slows down and allows my body to release, just wonderful! So I hope you are all finding some time to relax and reenergise.

Have a fantastic week — looking, moving and feeling great!

Exercise Of The Week
As there are no group classes again this week I am sending you another 10 minute routine for you to do every day so that you don't miss out on your Pilates.

Remember to choose the appropriate level for your body — I do give modifications during the video for each exercise, so use them where necessary.

If you do the workout every day you will be surprised how quickly your body will progress.

Your Whole Self
Your level of success will seldom exceed your level of personal development.

I love this statement, because I fully believe in personal development, getting our lives to the best possible place for us. That goes for relationships, health, work, play etc.

This is why people start a Pilates programme with us because they are looking to improve their health, and they are looking at their personal development.

However, this takes consistency, patience, and investment — not just financially but in time and commitment. It takes work, consistent work, and there are lots of excuses we can make, very valid excuses like I don't have the time or I can't commit every week or I can't spend that amount of money on myself  — but if you are serious about improving your health and your lifestyle, and you really want to take your personal development to the next level, then you do need to commit to the work and be prepared to invest your time.

I have clients who have been working with me for 16 years, who exude vitality, have a level of fitness, flexibility and wellbeing that is the envy of their friends and inspirational to me. This is purely down to them being prepared to commit and do the work.

Value yourself, value your personal development, commit to the work, and have the lifestyle you deserve.

The Week's Classes
Click the Calendar to View Larger
On the Calendar you'll see there are no classes — matwork or Reformer — this week at all.

There are some matwork classes running week beginning 4 April to make up for cancelled classes either last course, or for those that will have to be cancelled during this coming course. These are:
  • 10am Thursday 7 April Hathern Village Hall
  • 6.30pm Thursday 7 April Rempstone Village Hall
  • 7.30pm Thursday 7 April Rempstone Village Hall
  • 9.30am Friday 8 April Rempstone Village Hall
Other than these, all classes — matwork and Reformer — start back week beginning 11 April.

Book a Catchup

If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead, just follow the link to book it.

Simply tell us the class you will miss and —most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.

Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
