Hello , Easter is over, so throw any leftover chocolate away, put it in the bin … NOOOOOOO … just joking, of course!
We are back from our short break in Cyprus, and we have
returned with a plan...
We are planning a VIP Pilates and Wellbeing Retreat to be held in the beautiful Pissouri village in Cyprus.
We are hoping to hold the retreat in this wonderful villa, with fantastic views, in a very peaceful part of the village, perfect for relaxing and unwinding and restoring our wellbeing.
The dates for the retreat will be 5–9 October. Travelling on the 5 and 9 October means there will be 3 full days for the retreat itself.
Retreat days will involve a wake up Pilates session
followed by breakfast, then time for addressing individual/personal wellbeing goals which will look at work/life balance, including exercise, diet, overcoming barriers, specific, bespoke issues and coming up with a plan of action for you to bring home and implement on your return. There will be time for yourself exploring Pissouri and Cyprus, visiting the beach or just chilling round the pool. At the end of each day there is a pre-dinner Pilates session, followed by group dinner either at the
villa or at one of the many restaurants and tavernas in the area.
Numbers are limited to 6. The Villa has 4 rooms, two doubles and two with twin beds, each with ensuite facilities, so there would be some sharing.
If you are interested, all you have to do initially is get in touch to let us know. Once we have sufficient interest and numbers involved, then a deposit will be required to allow us to confirm our booking with the villa. We
want to do this ASAP to confirm the villa, so please get in touch quickly for more information.
Have a great week, look, move and feel good.

As there are no group classes this week, I am sending a short and sweet routine to keep you on track. This was one of my routines I did for myself on holiday, so showing a little glimpse of Pissouri beach and the beautiful sea in the background. The exercises I use are very traditional
Joseph Pilates exercises, with a few JT tweaks. Remember to work at the appropriate level for your body.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

While I have been away on holiday, I have been reminded on a daily basis about what affects how we feel about people we meet for the first time, or how we feel about an event or a place we are visiting or attending for the first time.
We were lucky enough to
stay in a hotel. It was actually my first hotel holiday ever, as when I am on holiday I don’t want to feel tied to meal times, because my work life is based on times — times of classes, times of 1:1s, times of meetings, times to eat — and I have always felt that hotels are like this. Breakfast at 9am; dinner at 7pm; vacate the room by 11 and so on, so I was a little reluctant to stay in a hotel.
However, I have to say it has been one of the best holidays ever — I
totally forgot about times, even though breakfast was between 7–10, evening meal between 7–10 — I simply didn’t think about it.
I feel the reason for this is because the people at the hotel, all the staff were just amazing — they never stopped smiling, nothing was too much trouble, very helpful, and I feel the success of the holiday for me is down to the people. They affected exactly how I felt about being at the hotel. They made it a special holiday for me, and it
wasn’t because I was demanding stuff — it was just simple — smiles, nods, hellos, acknowledgements.
I suppose the point of my short story is that success is more about how we make people feel, how we leave people feeling, the small things we do, the affect we have on others and how in turn that makes us feel. Show your love, show your joy, show your kindness and it will be returned to you.

Book a Catchup
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead, just
follow the link to book it.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and —most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.
Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
