It's time to get back into all our Pilates group classes this week, and just in case you haven't been doing the routines I have sent out over the holiday period, it might be a good idea to do this week's Exercise Of The Week to get your lower/mid spine moving before you attend class. Give your body a bit of a mobility boost by doing some pelvic tilts and hip glides — this will gradually ease you back into your classes.

Also, I want to say that there is a space on our Saturday morning Pilates Reformer class starting on Saturday 16 April at 11.15am if anyone would like to give the Pilates Reformer a try. The Pilates Reformer is a fantastic way to boost your Pilates to a significantly higher level (as anyone in any of the Pilates Reformer classes now running can tell you). If you've already had a free taster Reformer class or a Catchup class (in lieu of two matwork classes) and want to join the class now just reply to this Newsletter and let us know. If you've not yet had experience of the Pilates Reformer, and would like a free taster in the class, again just let us know.

Finally, a bit of personal news. I haven't been feeling fully fit and well since my return from holiday — goodness knows what germs we pick up on those flights — so I am apologising in advance in case I have to do some rescheduling of my sessions this week. If I do have to reschedule it is because I know I would not be serving you in the best possible way and I wouldn't be satisfied with that, so keep an eye out on your emails and /or texts just in case over the next few days. Wherever possible I will give 24 hours notice of any changes.

Exercise Of The Week
As already mentioned above, this week is an opportunity to get some specific mobility work done for your lower/mid spine with a pelvic tilt and a hip glide exercise. As with all Exercise Of The Week routines, work at the appropriate level for your body, and keep away from pain.

Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

Your Whole Self
Loving the Spring sunshine we keep having glances of, the lighter mornings and the lighter nights, the budding of the spring flowers. Even my tulip bulbs have decided it's time to search for the light, so I'm hoping they will start to flower this week.

Everything feels better when the sun is out and the sky is blue, but if it is a bit grey and cloudy out there, remember that feeling when we travel on a plane and we pass through the cloud after take-off ... It's always a beautiful blue sky above the cloud, so let's focus above the greyness.

Book a Catchup

If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead, just follow the link to book it.

Simply tell us the class you will miss and —most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.

Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
