Hello ,
One of our main 'Jane Thomas Pilates' aims is to ensure that we provide our family of class/studio participants with the best possible Pilates experience, enabling you to look, move and
feel great.
This is why we take our continuous professional development seriously so that we can continue to develop as teachers and be as up to date as we can with our knowledge and practice.
I am delighted therefore that Jenny and Helen will both be participating in their first module of Biomechanics Coaching education in July. I have found being a fully qualified Biomechanics Coach has enhanced my teaching of Pilates and enabled me
to get better results in providing bespoke programmes for my one-to-one clients, so I am keen that our whole team will be able to provide this level of expertise. So I want to celebrate Jenny and Helen for taking this opportunity — our team theme is “always more to learn, always developing, always improving, always growing”.
Also, I just need to remind everyone that the next course, starting next Monday is the last course of the year. Catchups can't be carried over
to next year's classes starting in September, so if you have any Catchups outstanding, remember to get them booked and used before the next course ends (ie, by 16 July).
Have a fantastic week everyone — look, move and feel great!
Jane, Keith and the team xxxxx

We are finalising our matwork class Summer Timetable, and will be issuing it shortly. Term-time matwork classes end on Saturday 16 July. Our term-time classes re-start for our new year in September. The Summer Timetable runs between those dates.
For those who have
joined us since last summer, the process is simple. We put on a wide range of classes over the summer (there are actually over 100 classes — a massive undertaking — encompassing all venues/days/times).
Everyone on our Monthly Payment Plan has four classes included in their monthly payment. Once the Summer Timetable is issued you simply claim which four of those classes you would like to come to. You are not restricted to your normal class venue/day/time, and can
choose any four classes — handy if you have a holiday, or if you just fancy trying a different class. Also, if you would like more than four classes, you can arrange to buy them.
Those not on our Monthly Payment Plan can arrange to buy as many classes as you want.
Keep your eye out for the Summer Timetable email over the next week or so. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so claim your classes
asap.

A 15 minute routine for you to do this week in place of your regular class. Please work at a level which is appropriate for your body.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

When I started practising Pilates it was due to me having an injury which had resulted in surgery and being warned away from high impact exercise which I had always participated in. It was a turning point in my life and one which affected me both physically and emotionally.
The result was of course that I fell in love with Pilates. I found a connection within myself — not necessarily spiritually — but a physical connection which provided me with peace in my head.
I still get this every time I practise my Pilates — I find that inner peace — I focus, breathe, connect and move. This is what I want everyone who works with us to feel.

It's half-term week, and there's not a lot going on. However, there are classes on Thursday at 6.30pm and 7.30pm in Rempstone Village Hall (in lieu of the Hall being closed as a Polling Station on 23 June), and Saturday 9.30am in Quorn
Village Hall (in lieu of not having access to the Hall last Saturday).
There are only two Reformer classes (Friday 12.30pm and Saturday 11.15am).
All classes are back to normal next week.
Book a Catchup
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and
would like to book a space in another class instead, just follow the link to book it.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and —most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.
Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will
occur.
