Not much news this week. As some of you might know, I'm on holiday at the moment, so my Newsletter is going to be somewhat brief. I mean, you wouldn't expect me to write loads of news while I'm poolside, sunbathing, chilling in the heat, relaxing and taking things easy, would you?
That doesn't mean I'm not doing nothing (pardon the triple-negative), as I'm doing lots of planning while I'm taking things easy. Planning for our
new matwork and Reformer courses starting in September, planning for our Pilates Coach training courses we'll be running in the autumn, and planning for the JTP team. I'll keep you all posted over the next few weeks about what these plans will bring us all, but I know that there's something for everyone.
But that's enough for now... The sun is out, and it's back to the pool for me!!!
Have a fantastic week folks — keep looking, moving and feeling great.

I thought I'd send you all a workout from the beach. That way, you will not miss your Pilates even if you don't have a Summer Timetable class to go to this week...
It's a short workout — not long at all — so is ideal for you all to practise every day if you
want. And, if you're on the beach too, that's all the better. We filmed it last year, in Cyprus, on one of our favourite beaches there — Pissouri Bay.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

I heard a quote the other day, from one of my childhood heroes and idols... Audrey Hepburn — and it struck me as being incredibly unpretentious and apt. She, in turn, was saying what had been said to her:
I heard a definition once: Happiness is health and a short
memory. I wish I'd invented it. Because it is very true.
And isn't that such a great quote? Happiness is very much a subjective feeling — each of us has within us the power to be happy when someone else isn't, or we can be unhappy when everything around us should make us happy. But there are two things that specifically are needed to be happy. Health of course is one of these. Health of ourselves, and health of loved ones around us. Without
health, it is incredibly difficult to be happy — not impossible, mind you — just difficult.
But not holding a grudge is the other thing we need to aim for. If someone slights us, or if we are angry at others' actions, then we cannot ourselves feel we are able to be in a state of happiness. However, if we can forget about those things other people may do that upset us, then we can be happy. Putting it bluntly, we should release those things that hold us back
from being happy. And the easiest way to release them, is to forget about them.
Like Audrey tells us, we should all have a short memory...

As usual during the Summer Timetable — this is Week 5 — check to make sure your class is on, you have booked it, and make sure you go to it...
Book a Catchup
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead,
just follow the link to book it. Our Glamourous Assistant Karen runs the Catchups system, and this link is the quickest, most direct means (it's even faster than emailing her!) of letting Karen know.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and — most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a
Catchup.
Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
Finally, please don't just tell your class Pilates Coach you will be missing a class, as your Coach is not aware of Catchups spaces and has no means of registering your space. Karen needs to know, and the link
here (it's also at the bottom of our website too) is the best way to let Karen know.
