We are coming towards the end of our Summer Timetable and I must admit I am looking forward to our new courses starting in September.
Talking of which, there's a few changes and additions being made. One of the main changes that will affect class participants is that our courses will be longer — lasting roughly the length of the equivalent school-term. For example, from September to Christmas will be our first course of 12
weeks.
Also, like school-terms, we will have a half-term break roughly in the middle of each course. So, we will still have two weeks off at half term in October to cover both Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire half terms.
The main reason for this is because those of you who do more than one class a week or have taken longer holidays, have struggled to fit in Catchups when you have missed, so having a longer course will give you more time to fit
in your Catchups, and provide you with more time to plan. As you know we have always tried to be flexible with our Catchups system, but I think this will provide us with more opportunities for that, and it will make it easier for you.
The other change that affects class participants is that if you miss four matwork classes during a course, you can trade them in for a single Reformer session. However, the Reformer session will not be part of a regular timetabled
course, it will be a specific class held on a specific day which will be organised by me so this will be arranged through the usual Catchups system.
These are two great changes, responding to feedback from our class participants, aiming to make our Pilates more accessible and provide you all with more opportunity.
New Class Timetable
Where possible we will stick to these dates, but as you know, we are all human and sometimes illness, availability of venues, and generally life can change and affect
our plans, so occasionally the dates may have to change, but we will endeavour to stick to them.
We still have lots of new classes starting for beginners, and spaces in our improvers classes as well, so I am asking a favour if you know of anyone who may be interested in starting Pilates please pass on our details. We are trying to bring Pilates to your doorstep, so we have classes in Hathern, Rempstone, Quorn, Sileby, Seagrave and Old Woodhouse, as well as in
Loughborough. If it is their first time, they can attend their first class as a free taster. They just need to get in touch by email or by phone. All our contact details are at the bottom of this newsletter, or on our website. Have a
fantastic week folks — keep looking, moving and feeling great.

As we are still on our Summer Timetable, and as some of you have completed your Summer wish list of classes, I am sending a short workout for you to do this week.
This is approximately 15 minutes long and it was part of my online Pilates Course that a
few of you signed up for a couple of years ago.
In the video I show a range of levels and adaptations — so please work at the appropriate level for your body. I think you will enjoy it.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

As promised in last week’s Newsletter, I am taking you through my Core Values by which I try to live my life.
Last week I looked at Integrity and what that meant to me, so this week I am looking at LOVE!
So, what does Love mean to
me?
Passion, giving, sharing, receiving, forgiving, understanding, believing, laughing, crying, and definitely doing my best.
For me, love comes into my life every single day, from my fantastic family, from my fantastic soulmate (Keith) and my wonderful son (George), for which I feel blessed. Love is also very dominant in my work, I love teaching Pilates, and when I say “I do everything with love” or “I am doing this because I love you” it is
true. I am passionate about what I do, how I do it and why I do what I do.
One thing I have learned is — how important it is to show myself some love as well. Often when we do things for ourselves we worry that it appears to be selfish. Selfish is often associated with something not very pleasant or not being nice — but in order for us to be selfless, we sometimes have to be selfish. If you can show yourself some love, it then becomes easier to live your life with love,
both to give it and receive it.
This week, I want you to do one thing every day that will make your life feel better. Show yourself some love. You will be surprised how quickly this affects how you feel and live your life from day to day.

Week 7 of the Summer Timetable — so make sure your class is running, and that you have booked before you go, as it may not be, and you may not have a space...
Book a Catchup
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead,
just follow the link to book it. Our Glamourous Assistant Karen runs the Catchups system, and this link is the quickest, most direct means (it's even faster than emailing her!) of letting Karen know.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and — most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a
Catchup.
Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
Finally, please don't just tell your class Pilates Coach you will be missing a class, as your Coach is not aware of Catchups spaces and has no means of registering your space. Karen needs to know, and the link
here (it's also at the bottom of our website too) is the best way to let Karen know.
