As our holiday draws to a close, I am sitting on our balcony writing this week’s Newsletter looking out at the sea, the mountains, and the beautiful blue sky and sunshine of Tenerife. I feel very lucky and grateful that we were able to take this holiday at this time and feel fully refreshed and ready to get back into teaching this week.
A Reminder For those of you who
have registered for the Be You Workshop with Philippa this Friday please remember to complete the required forms and return them to us. Please check your emails if you think you have registered and haven’t received them. Everyone attending must complete the forms and return them to us prior to Friday. A couple of spaces remain for the Be You Workshop too, so if you want further information, please reply to the Newsletter
to get further information.
We have invested in the opportunity for Philippa to run the Be You Workshop for us, so if you have previously asked for a space but no longer want one, please do let us know as soon as possible as other of our clients may like to come instead.
Matwork Classes Also, we do have some spaces in our matwork classes at the following
venues: - Wednesdays 5.30pm and 6.30pm at The Base, Loughborough with Traudi
- Wednesdays 10.30am at Rosebery Street Medical Centre, Loughborough with Mary.
As a favour please can I ask that if you have friends or family who you know are looking to join a Pilates class, please spread the word, or if you are looking to add a second class a week, we do offer a discount for the second class and this may be your opportunity to increase your Pilates
practice.
Have a fantastic week folks — keep looking, moving and feeling great.

As many of the group classes will not start until next week, I am sending another short routine to keep you moving until the regular timetable is fully up and running. This was another routine that was part of one of my on line wellbeing courses. Remember to work at the
appropriate level for your body.
Check the video for the modifications and alternatives, and make your choice of level to work at.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

What I have loved this week is having time to myself…
It sort of goes with the territory of working in the fitness industry that as teachers and coaches we are expected to be fit and exercise regularly. While I do try and do some Pilates every day for myself, I
sometimes find this a challenge. I have to get up very early in order to fit in exercise for myself.
If I have had a long teaching day the day before, sometimes getting up earlier to fit in my own exercise becomes a bit of a chore! Once exercise becomes a chore, motivation to get on and do it becomes a challenge. Also I often fall into the trap of only doing the exercises that I love rather than doing the exercises that may challenge me more and help me more. This
isn’t because I don’t have enough exercises in the bank, but because I don’t want to have to think about it, so I choose the exercises that I can do without thought. But this week has been fabulous as I have had the time to exercise and the time to think about what to do and try different things and challenge my body.
Maybe you have good intentions to do more exercise at home but run out of time for yourself, or feel at a loss to know what to do, this is one
of the reasons I post my Exercise Of The Week in this Newsletter to encourage and help you all to do more at home.
What I recognise is how much better I feel when I have been moving my body. So my goal will be to try and make this time for myself every day when I get back and when I return to my routine of working with and finding challenges for others. I am confident that I can make this change for myself, and I need to do this for myself because it
makes me feel so much happier… and as Keith says — if you are happy Jane, then I am happy — and he is right!

The only classes this week are Monday's matwork classes (in lieu of classes on the up-coming May Bank Holiday), Saturday's matwork class in Quorn at 9.30am, and the Saturday Reformer class.
Don't turn
uo to any other class or you'll be disappointed... ;-)
Book a Catchup
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, and would like to book a space in another class instead,
just follow the link to book it. Our Glamourous Assistant Karen runs the Catchups system, and this link is the quickest, most direct means (it's even faster than emailing her!) of letting Karen know.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and — most important — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a
Catchup.
Please also let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchup system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
Finally, please don't just tell your class Pilates Coach you will be missing a class, as your Coach is not aware of Catchups spaces and has no means of registering your space. Karen needs to know, and the link
here (it's also at the bottom of our website too) is the best way to let Karen know.
