As most of you know this last week has been full of difficult decision making as we are having to deal with losing some of the JTP team. This has obviously meant that we are having to close some of our classes, and those of you who this affects have already been notified.
Closing classes is something that I am by no means comfortable with doing, but in order to be able to keep a timetable of classes going which fulfils the opportunities and maximises the options we want to provide for our class participants going forward, difficult decisions are having to be made.
Most of you already know that Helen will be finishing Pilates Coaching totally for us this week to pursue her Counselling career, and Traudi has also decided to reduce her Coaching with JTP to pursue her own projects in the new year. We are obviously very sad to be losing Helen, and also very sad that Traudi is reducing her hours for us (though happy that Traudi isn't leaving the JTP team totally). Inevitably though, there must be some swapping around of our Coaches on the timetable while
we search for the best way forward, and we do hope everyone understands the predicament we face.
One thing I can confidently confirm is that all the team have your wellbeing at their hearts. They are a team of caring, compassionate people who have a passion for providing the best possible Pilates experience they can for our class participants, and this will continue into 2019.
We will announce and confirm the class timetable with teachers in our last Newsletter before Christmas next week.
Have a great week folks, keep moving, looking and feeling good.
Jane, Keith and the team xx

As I have been doing over the last few weeks, I am continuing to look at those joints susceptible to arthritis — and this week the focus is on our hips.
This exercise is perfect if you have been diagnosed with bursitis in the hips, hip replacement or you suffer with arthritic pain.
As with all of the Exercise Of The Weeks — keep away from pain and work at the appropriate level for your body.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

This time of year can be tricky. It's a busy time of year and a lot of people can feel under pressure to find the perfect gift, to write the perfect message in a card, to find the perfect outfit for the party, to cook the perfect Christmas dinner, to have the perfect family gathering … and
sometimes the perfect can feel totally out of reach. We get stressed, we get irritable, we get resentful, we get frustrated, we get a little unreasonable, and we get a bit judgemental and feel we are being judged. So I think I have found the perfect quote to think about when we are feeling the pressure:
When someone does something wrong, don’t forget all the things they did right
(Anonymous)
Sometimes even with the effort to try and get everything right and perfect, we can still be made to feel we got things wrong. If this strikes a chord with you as we head into the full on festive season, remember all the things you got right, because no-body is perfect.

Most matwork classes are running as planned, all in their correct venues, at the correct days and times. However, there are no Hathern classes tonight (Monday).
There are some Reformer classes this week — running as replacements for any we had to cancel earlier in the term:
- Jenny's on Monday evening at 7pm and 8pm
- Jane's on Tuesday evening at 6pm
- Tanya's on Wednesday morning at 8am and 9am
- Mary's on Thursday evening at 6pm and 7pm.
Finally — remember that this is the last week of classes before the Christmas break. Classes return week beginning 7 January.
Have a great Christmas and New Year everyone!
Book a Catchup/Missing Class
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, want to let us know or would like to book a
space in another class instead, just follow the link to register it. Our Glamourous Assistant Karen runs the Catchups system, and this link is the quickest, most direct means (it's even faster than emailing her!) of letting Karen and your class Coach know.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and — most important if you want to book a Catchup — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only
give us one alternative, we cannot guarantee you will get a Catchup.
Please let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchups system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
Finally, please don't just tell your class class Coach you will be missing a class, as your Coach is not aware of Catchups spaces and has no means of
registering your space. Karen needs to know, and the link here (it's also at the bottom of our website too) is the best and fastest way to let Karen know.
