Happy Valentine's Day
As regular readers will know, I am always very keen to support other Pilates Coaches with their personal projects, and this week I especially want to bring to your attention the work being done by Tanya regarding her Pink Ribbon Post Rehab Pilates classes — available to those who are from six weeks to several years post-op following breast cancer.
Tanya is running a new Pink Ribbon Post Rehab Pilates Workshop from Tuesday 25 February and is currently enrolling. Spaces are limited for this specially designed recovery programme which helps you:
- regain movement, strength, and energy
- ease pain and swelling
- build confidence
- promote lymphatic drainage.
For readers of this Newsletter there is an exclusive special offer price for the Workshop if booked by 17 February. Tanya has a web page with more information, so if you are interested in finding out more please click or tap on the link here.
Absolute Beginners Workshops
It's only February I know, but in March we are planning to start some more of our Absolute Beginners Workshops in our Loughborough Studio. We believe these really are the very best way to start Pilates you can possibly have — micro-group sessions (a maximum of only 5 people) in our Studio with one of our Beginners Specialist Pilates Coaches. Everyone gets a 52-page, full-colour book of the exercises you cover in the three-week Workshop, with a weekly email
which includes a video of the exercises too, so you can keep practising at home.
If you know someone who would benefit from taking up Pilates — and of course we think that everybody benefits from Pilates — please do pass on this Newsletter to them and get them to reply to the Newsletter for more details (including their mobile phone number).
Reformer Classes
Our Reformer classes in our Studio boost your Pilates to a new level. There are some spaces in one or two of the regular Reformer classes if you already do a matwork class and feel you just need a new challenge (and Reformer classes do challenge you).
There are also new Beginners Reformer classes starting up if you have done little or no Pilates before.
Have a great week folks — keep looking, moving and feeling good!

Due to my busy schedule over the last few weeks, I haven’t had time to film a new routine for this Newsletter so I am sending one from one of my online courses.
I hope you enjoy and as always work at the appropriate level for your body and keep away from pain.
Feel the difference, move differently, and look more balanced.

One of the best things about teaching Pilates in the community is finding out about everyone’s lives and what they get up to when not doing Pilates …
I have discovered quite a few things over the years, with clients travelling far and wide to work on providing better facilities to improve others lives. Getting involved in projects such as providing clean water in areas of poverty, or building schools to enable every child has access to an education are all pretty amazing and inspiring.
As well as enjoying discovering what you get up to, it also tells me how generous and kind you are with your time and your energies, and I love that. The fact that you are changing people's lives with these acts of generosity, and providing a positive experience for both recipients and providers is a source of wonder for me and a source of love.
Knowing that we experience approximately 20,000 individual moments every day, and each of these moments — although only lasting for a few seconds — can go towards creating a strong memory, positive or negative, and there will be an image in our minds of that precise point in time creating memorable moments. Sometimes a single encounter can change a life forever, and simply by showing care, concern and a belief in someone can create such a strong memory that it can make all the
difference.
Putting this into context, we all have the ability to make memorable moments for others, and they don’t have to come from big projects, as amazing as they are. Simply by telling someone you care and you believe in them can make a huge difference to an individual — the smallest of interactions can be the change to their life.
Don’t hold it back, say it out loud: I care about you, and I think you are amazing ...... Happy Valentine's Day!

All classes — matwork and Reformer — are running as planned this week, all in their correct venues, at the correct days and times.
Next week — beginning 17 February — marks the beginning of our two-week half-term break, so all classes take a breather at some point over the two-week period. Some classes are still running however within that period, as replacements for classes that were missed due to weather, illness etc. Use the online interactive Calendar above to step through week-by-week and check whether your class is running over the break.
Book a Catchup/Missing Class
If you know you will have to miss a class in your course for any reason, want to let us know or would like to book a space in another class instead, just
follow the link to register it. Our Glamourous Assistant Karen runs the Catchups system, and this link is the quickest, most direct means (it's even faster than emailing her!) of letting Karen and your class Coach know.
Simply tell us the class you will miss and — most important if you want to book a Catchup — please give us as many alternatives as possible. If you only give us one alternative, we cannot
guarantee you will get a Catchup.
Please let us know if you will miss your class but don't want a Catchup — the whole Catchups system relies on knowing when spaces will occur.
Finally, please don't just tell your class class Coach you will be missing a class, as your Coach is not aware of Catchups spaces and has no means of registering your space. Karen needs to know, and the link here (it's also at the bottom of our website too) is the best and fastest way to let Karen know.
