There’s a lot of reflecting going on in the news this week ... looking back on this time last year as the Government began to realise that a lockdown was necessary.
So I have been reflecting on what was happening in my life this time last year as well.
It was our last week of face-to-face classes as we faced having to stop group exercise, and we all thought at the time that this would last for about 6 weeks.
I know that I thought if I could get some online classes going for 6 weeks to keep the jtp Pilates family moving and connected that it might get us through a difficult situation.
One year later I am still teaching online and still working to motivate my Pilates family to keep moving and stay connected.
We’ve had a little flurry of face-to-face in the middle of all this but the online classes have enabled me to continue to reach out to everyone.
Tuesday 23rd March is my one year anniversary of teaching my kind of Pilates online. It is also National Reflection Day, and I am guessing that many of you have experienced a lot of change in your lives, and experienced a very new way of living. Some of you have continued to work throughout as key workers in the NHS, in essential retail, in delivering
our post, our parcels, teaching albeit virtually, so many of you to be thankful for. There will also have been some sadness for some of us during this time.
With all this in mind, when my Morning Movement class finishes, at 10.30am on Tuesday, I would love it if you could join me for a cuppa and a natter and a little reflection time.
